We Get Hitched

We Get Hitched

About 15 years after we connected at our mutual employer, Digital Equipment, we finally got married. She was a Marketing Manager for “CASE” (Computer Aided Software Engineering) – a suite of software products to assist software engineers at the time to develop software and documentation. He had moved from a nice, safe introvert-compatible tech support role, to one of professional presenter (“Talking Head”). And his responsibility was the set of products for which Kathy was defining the strategy. She formulated the engineering strategy into a marketing strategy, he ground it up into a sometimes-palatable pablum suitable for clients ranging from true “Rocket Scientists” to completely non-technical CEOs. For a while we were dating sporadically between his house in Massachusetts and her’s in New Hampshire – about 50 miles apart – but in time we accidently bought a fabulous home together about half way between the two addresses. We weren’t looking to move in together… it just sort of happened.

And “living together in sin” for quite a few years, on May 8, 2002 at Speyside, Tobago, we finally got married.

The details are fun. We have to  migrate them from our old site. Watch this space and harass us if it doesn’t come to pass. It’s a good story.
